For 40 years, Caritas has offered adolescence-focused substance abuse treatment programs in Rhode Island.
Rick will share his journey from addict to attorney which began in adolescence. He will also discuss reconnecting with recovery. Expanding on the night’s theme “A Harvest of Dreams Come True” Rick will speak about the elements that contribute to his success and recovery: Hope, Surrender and Intention.
In honor of Thanksgiving, Rick will be speaking about gratitude, particularly with reference to the importance of connecting with the recovery community.

Rick will honor his mentor Governor Michael Dukakis at the Over My Shoulder Foundation’s “Mentorology” Event at The Liberty Hotel. The event will be attended by national leaders in mentoring, sponsor CUMAR Marble and Granite, and Carly Simon.
